i've heard from a very reliable person that you can boil your strings in water to make them, lets say, youthful again.
does anyone have any experience of this? if you have, how did you do it exactly? can overcooking them damage them? etc...

give it a try go on, they're not supposed to last as long as new strings, but for a little while they're about as good

so nobody's tried it yet? a friend told me about this too..... but i haven't ever tried it yet either.... i think he said it made them feel almost new for a while.... it's worth it, even to get an extra month out of a set of strings...

i didn't try it my 2 of my strings unwound so i replaced the set haha i will do it soon though before the band kicks off with all our next set of gigs
