one i wrote as a sort of slowish yet heavy song with an acoustic bass taking the place of an acoustic guitar .......on an 8 string. got inspired from Korpilklanni's You Looked Into My Eyes. still unfinished
I see her not yet she approaches the wind reveals to me her coming no living thing crosses her path even the trees stand aside
she moves from shadow to light illuminated by my torch a Danaan maiden stands before me
Her robe is the leaves of the oak she is a jewel even amongst the faery folk with her emerald eyes she meets my gaze her hair is fire with each step she sets the sky ablaze
At her step, the land is free from the clutches of bitter winter the trees return to their former glory the rivers purge themselves of ice
there is no maiden that is or is to come that will ever that fair be cursed are mortals for the Danaan are free
At her approach, mortal tounge fails me I am rendered helpless and weak As if Mancha herself had laid her curse to be broken when this maiden speaks
She speaks not a word but her eyes tell the tale She must return from whence she hails
She comes closer and we embrace fears and foes melt away I hold her like its my last beneath the shining moon
too little time till morning even less till dawn before my fair Danaan maiden returns to the Land of Youth Spring will return to winter.......
Once mortal, forever mortal I am cursed and doomed to die For no man suffers now more pain in death than I
Spring retreats into winter..........

nice . it has a very ethereal feel to it, "At her approach, mortal tounge fails me" that's some awesome lyrics.
