ok well, me and my freind have a radio show on a college radio station. and the other day we 'stumbled' upon a recording studio that they have the back. we asked around and shit and got permission to use it. the only catch is we have to provide our own mics and headsets (the last people in there stole em) and we have to put some of the shit back together (again the last assholes dismantled some of the racks and shit) but shit its free! any advice on recording in a studio? its definitally not top of the line or very 'state of the art' but im still fucking psyced (sp) about this! basically we have to figure almost everything out by trial and error hehe this is gonna own and tips are welcome

Unfortunately due to a miscommunication problem (setting up the program) The recording wont be as good as I could have gotten it.

1st off ill have to say: impressive as hell for that price. I wonder how they can offer that ridiculous of spec for so cheap. The one thing that turned me down the most was the 1/8 in. in's. I dont fully enjoy losing the strength of an unbalanced line only to be lost before the soundcard.

Another question here, do any of you have experience with optical lines?
