CANNIBAL CORPSE'S ALEX WEBSTER TO PLAY BASS ON FORTHCOMING HATE ETERNAL RELEASE
CANNIBAL CORPSE’s bassist, Alex Webster will be appearing on HATE ETERNAL’s new album.
Webster’s appearance on HATE ETERNAL’s new album, is the result of the recent departure of the band’s bassist, Randy Piro Jr.“I am very excited to be participating in the recording of Hate Eternal's next album. Erik [Rutan] is an amazing guitarist and songwriter, and one of my best friends.” comments bassist, Alex Webster “As bassist for the new album, I will do my best to make the strongest contribution possible to a band that has already proven itself to be at the highest level of brutality and musicianship".
Both Webster and HATE ETERNAL vocalist and guitarist, Erik Rutan have had a close working relationship prior to working on HATE ETERNAL’s upcoming album (due October 2007). Rutan produced CANNIBAL CORPSE’s latest album, Kill (2006)
“This record needs and deserves the best and I think Alex is the best bass player I know. He is one of my best friends and know that Jared would be proud to have Alex be a part of Hate Eternal history” enthuses Rutan “He was my first bass player in Hate Eternal when I started and am proud to have him back as a part of it.”
HATE ETERNAL’s new album is due October 2007.

Hate Eternal is proud to announce the newest member to the Hate Eternal family, Shaune Kelley joining the band as the second guitarist.
Leader Erik Rutan comments: “Shaune and I played together in Ripping Corpse for over 5 years before my involvement in Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal and have been friends for over 20 years. I am totally ecstatic to have Shaune in the band and recreate a guitar team that always connected on all fronts. Shaune’s contributions to the new record will be tremendous as well as the touring to follow it being the first time Hate Eternal will actually really be a four piece live band due to other situations never working out. Rehearsals have been amazing jamming with Alex, Jade, and Shaune for over the last couple of months at Mana Studios. The new songs are finished and sounding awesome! We have spent much more time on the preparation of this new album on all fronts compared to our past releases and the results have provided a much more focused and deeper layered result (more solos, yes!). We start recording the drums on August 21st and then following through and finishing by mid October for an early 2008 Metal Blade release.”

Florida death metallers Hate Eternal have issued the following update:
"Hate Eternal have been forced to drop off the ongoing Job For A Cowboy North American tour due an infection in Erik Rutan's hand and complications in his kidney. Erik was admitted to an Iowa City hospital on the early morning of Nov. 23rd and has remained under doctor's supervision since.
The infection has caused concern for the doctors, but the major concern of the doctor's is, Erik's kidney. Erik has had a couple of procedures done on his kidney. Erik will not be able to continue the tour, but he is expected to make a full recovery. He is expected to be released sometime next week and then will seek further treatment at home in Florida.
Hate Eternal would like thank to everyone on the tour for their understanding of the situation. Hate Eternal would also like to thank all the fans who have expressed concern for Erik's health."
